On the international scene, Dr. Fülöp has served on the executive committee and participated in the organization of three international congresses on geriatrics. His expertise is sought by international scientific journals of gerontology. Wed., at 6 PM on April 9, the Eastern Townships Canadian Club will feature Tamàs Fülöp, M.D., Ph.D., who is a specialist in Geriatrics and currently Professor of Medicine and Geriatrics and Senior Researcher at the Research Center on Aging, University of Sherbrooke. His clinical interests are in frailty, neurodegeneration, oncogeriatrics and end of life care. Apart from his academic and hospital duties, Dr. Fülöp maintains internationally-recognized research activities on aging.
