Breton’s last stand

Stanstead Journal - - FROM PAGE ONE -

Perennial PQ candidate Michel Breton should announce next week that he is retiring from politics. He refused to do so on Monday, but the press could infer that he will. His biggest disappointment was that voters didn’t show up, one of the main reasons for the PQ defeat this week. While he didn’t know, Pierre Reid, had warmly talked about him at his press conference as he did for Patricia Tremblay, the defeated Québec Solidaire candidate who almost didn’t campaign at all this time.
