Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

For several weeks now, the town of Coaticook has been hosting artist Michel Boisvert, of TroisRivieres, as its artist-in-residence, and he has been very busy ‘putting paint to canvas’. A visual artist who has had numerous exhibitions in Quebec, New Brunswick and Europe, Mr. Boisvert is inviting the public to come to his newest exhibition of the works he has created since coming to Coaticook.

An artist who loves to paint old buildings and architecture, Mr. Boisvert uses vibrant colours in his impressionistic renditions of heritage Coaticook homes, old farmhouses and local landmarks. Everyone is welcome to come and meet the artist and see his exhibition this Friday, April 18th, from 1:00 to 9:00 pm, and Saturday, April 19th, from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm, at Place JR Lefebvre on Main Street, in Coaticook.
