KingdomCounty Productions and Burklyn Arts Council will present The Moscow Festival Ballet’s performance of Cinderella, 7pm, Thursday, April 17th at Lyndon Institute Auditorium. The Moscow Festival Ballet was founded during the late 1980s, when many of Russia’s great dancers and choreographers were exercising newfound creative freedom by starting new, vibrant companies. The 50-member Russian troupe incorporates graduates from the leading choreographic schools of Moscow, St. Petersburg and Perm. The principal dancers come from the upper ranks of the great companies. Artistic director Sergei Radchenko, a 25-year veteran of The Bolshoi Ballet, leads the company, which brings together the highest classical elements of the Bolshoi and Kirov ballet companies.
