New Health Cen­tre meet­ings in May

of the com­mit­tee for the Mas­saw­ippi Val­ley Health Cen­tre, to be lo­cated in Ayer’s Cliff at the for­mer site of the Café Main Street, have or­ga­nized five pub­lic meet­ings to be held dur­ing the month of May so they may share all of the re­cent de­vel­op­ments re­lated to the much-needed and anx­iously awaited ini­tia­tive.

Ac­cord­ing to a com­mu­niqué, “the Cen­tre is now a govern­ment-ap­proved not­for-profit health co­op­er­a­tive owned by its mem­bers. Ad­min­is­tra­tors and by-laws are in place. Health care work­ers are ex­press­ing in­ter­est to join, the build­ing is ready for ren­o­va­tions and fund-rais­ing is in progress.”

The dates and lo­ca­tions of the meet­ings are: May 10, Ayer’s Cliff El­e­men­tary School, 952 San­born, bilin­gual pre­sen­ta­tion; May 17, Stanstead Col­lege, Pierce Hall, bilin­gual pre­sen­ta­tion; May 24, Do­minique Salvo School, 115 La Grande Rue, Ste-Cather­ine-de-Hat­ley, pre­sen­ta­tion French/ques­tions bilin­gual; May 25, Stanstead Town­ship Town Hall, 778 Shel­don, bilin­gual pre­sen­ta­tion; May 31, St. El­iz­a­beth Church Hall, 3115 Capel­ton, North Hat­ley, bilin­gual pre­sen­ta­tion. Each meet­ing will be held be­tween 10:00 am and noon.
