East­ern Town­ships Cana­dian Club is pleased to fea­ture Tim Belford, re­tired CBC per­son­al­ity on Tues., May 20 at 6:00 PM at Hô­tel Le Prési­dent, 3535 King West in Sher­brooke. His pre­sen­ta­tion is called The Art of the In­ter­view – A light Hearted Look at 25 Years of Ask­ing Ques­tions.

Tim Belford was born in St. Catharines, ON and at­tended univer­sity at both Dal­housie and Bish­ops.

His work­ing ca­reer was di­verse and eclec­tic. Tim Belford was at var­i­ous times a Pub­lic school teacher, a naval of­fi­cer, the man­ager of a theatre, a news­pa­per colum­nist, a bar man­ager, a per­son­nel of­fi­cer with Parks Canada, a col­lege lec­turer in his­tory and po­lit­i­cal sci­ence, a news­pa­per edi­tor and fi­nally, for the last twenty-one years a ra­dio host with the CBC. He has been re­tired since 2011 and lives hap­pily in Len­noxville with his wife Jane and his con­stant com­pan­ion Brando the Won­der Dog.

Mem­bers and the pub­lic are in­vited to at­tend this in­ter­est­ing talk and the fi­nal get-to­gether of the East­ern Town­ships Cana­dian Club.
