Beaulne’s Big Day coming up
TheBeaulne Museum of Coaticook is pleased to invite the local and regional residents to the “Open House Day”. This traditional celebration was created so that the community could take part in many activities and adopt the Museum as their own. This Festive Day will be held on Sunday, the 25th of May, from 10am to 4pm. So come with your family, your spouse or by yourself and enjoy a pleasant and friendly day.
There will be free indoor and outdoor activities and people can visit all the new exhibitions and the archeological site of the Queen’s Hotel. There will also be crafts and games for chil- dren, quilting and weaving demonstrations, demonstrations from the artists of the group Coatic’Art and music by the Harmony of Coaticook band.
Fundraising activities also going on include: Yard sale (antiques, furniture, frames, dishes, etc...); Pastries and desserts for sale. There will be a picnic with (for sale ): Homemade chili, tortillas, Coaticook cheese and ice cream, hot dogs, juice, soft drinks, etc…
This is a perfect occasion to enjoy the music, participate in many activities, taste delicious homemade foods and purchase a collectable or two. There will also be an inauguration of the Pioneer’s Garden, a combined project with the “Table de Concertation Culturelle de la MRC de Coaticook” and the Beaulne Museum. The goal was to Celebrate Coaticook’s 150th Anniversary through our many courageous and great pioneers.
