Beaulne’s Big Day com­ing up

TheBeaulne Mu­seum of Coat­i­cook is pleased to in­vite the lo­cal and re­gional res­i­dents to the “Open House Day”. This tra­di­tional cel­e­bra­tion was cre­ated so that the com­mu­nity could take part in many ac­tiv­i­ties and adopt the Mu­seum as their own. This Fes­tive Day will be held on Sun­day, the 25th of May, from 10am to 4pm. So come with your fam­ily, your spouse or by yourself and en­joy a pleas­ant and friendly day.

There will be free in­door and out­door ac­tiv­i­ties and people can visit all the new ex­hi­bi­tions and the arche­o­log­i­cal site of the Queen’s Ho­tel. There will also be crafts and games for chil- dren, quilt­ing and weav­ing demon­stra­tions, demon­stra­tions from the artists of the group Coatic’Art and mu­sic by the Har­mony of Coat­i­cook band.

Fundrais­ing ac­tiv­i­ties also go­ing on in­clude: Yard sale (antiques, fur­ni­ture, frames, dishes, etc...); Pas­tries and desserts for sale. There will be a pic­nic with (for sale ): Home­made chili, tor­tillas, Coat­i­cook cheese and ice cream, hot dogs, juice, soft drinks, etc…

This is a per­fect oc­ca­sion to en­joy the mu­sic, par­tic­i­pate in many ac­tiv­i­ties, taste de­li­cious home­made foods and pur­chase a col­lectable or two. There will also be an in­au­gu­ra­tion of the Pioneer’s Gar­den, a com­bined project with the “Ta­ble de Con­cer­ta­tion Cul­turelle de la MRC de Coat­i­cook” and the Beaulne Mu­seum. The goal was to Cel­e­brate Coat­i­cook’s 150th An­niver­sary through our many coura­geous and great pi­o­neers.
