Pacte Ru­ral in­put wanted

TheMem­phrem­a­gog MRC is invit­ing in­di­vid­u­als and or­ga­ni­za­tions to take part in a pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion about the Pacte Ru­ral.

In or­der to de­fine its pri­or­i­ties and ori­en­ta­tions when it comes to de­vel­op­ment, a pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion will be held on Wed­nes­day, June 11th, from 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm, in the com­mu­nity cen­ter of Ste-Cather­ine-de-Hat­ley (85 Grande-Rue). Any­one in­ter­ested should reg­is­ter by call­ing San­dra Gagnon at 819 843-9292, ext. 24. Be­cause the num­ber of places is limited, or­ga­ni­za­tions are asked to send one rep­re­sen­ta­tive only.

Those reg­is­tered will re­ceive a con­sul­ta­tion doc­u­ment that will in­clude, among other things, the sta­tis­tics from the years 2007 to 2014 as well as the in­vest­ment pa­ram­e­ters of the new pol­icy. Af­ter study­ing these, they will de­fine three pri­or­i­ties and sub­mit them dur­ing the pub­lic con­sul­ta­tion. People can also send in their com­ments in writ­ing to the MRC un­til June 20th.
