Lacrosse now at SC

Sa­muel De Grace won a Ju­nior S, while Sa­gira Se­govia won the Sports­man­ship Award for ten­nis.

The Alex J. Philip Shield for golf and a Se­nior S went to first­time golfer Anna Thin­phangNga of Ray­ong, Thai­land. Cody Lapenna of Og­den, Que. won the Sports­man­ship Award.

There were five Ju­nior S awards for rugby: Chloe Van Dyke and Kayla Ouel­let, both of Stanstead; Diego An­cona and Al­fonso Ru­bio both of Huixquilu­can, Mex­ico; and Will Huck­ins of Og­den, Que. Sports­man­ship Awards in ju­nior rugby went to An­drew Stevens of Stanstead East and Rachelle Berg­eron of Stanstead.

Lacrosse was a new sport this term, with one award, the Sports­man­ship Award go­ing to goalie Jor­dan Laroche of Hong Kong. Cody Bean of Hat­ley Town­ship, Que. was also sin­gled out as MVP, al­though there was no award for this cat­e­gory.

The bad­minton Sports­man­ship Award was shared by Martin Siu and Pui Yuen Che­ung of Hong Kong.

Soft­ball MVPs were Ryan Fletcher of Iras­burg, Vt. and Sa­man­tha Rhainds from Val­ley­field, Que. An­drew Don­ald­son of Stittsville, Ont. won the Sports­man­ship Award.
