Record set at Coaticook Relay for Life
More than $120,000 was raised at Coaticook’s Relay for Life event, held on May 31st. Walking all night long were 429 participants, 98 survivors and 40 helpers while 1,408 luminaries lit their way around the track. The traditional ‘rase-coco’ that takes place at this event saw eight people get their heads shaved, raising more than $5000 which went towards the total. All the money raised is given to the Canadian Cancer Society.
