Ro­tary Club of the Boundary Changeover of Pres­i­dents

On Mon­day, June 16 our out­go­ing Pres­i­dent, Lionel Emond, handed over the task to Stephen Rocke who will be the pres­i­dent for the next year. At the changeover the club cel­e­brates its ac­com­plish­ments dur­ing the last year. As usual our small club had been a part of many lo­cal and in­ter­na­tional ini­tia­tives. Boundary Pres­i­dent 2014-2015, Stephen Rocke and Pres­i­dent 2013-2014, Lionel Emond.

The club also rec­og­nized the achieve­ment of one of the people who helps Ro­tary meet its goal to un­der­take and sup­port projects. Lu­cie Groleau Tay­lor re­ceived a cer­tifi­cate mak­ing her an of­fi­cial “Friend of Ro­tary”. For many years Lu­cie has been or­ga­niz­ing the chil­dren’s sec­tion of the book­store in Beebe. There are many chil­dren’s books that Lu­cie or­ga­nizes to be ac­ces­si­ble to the dif­fer­ent age groups. Lu­cie’s work is very much ap­pre­ci­ated by the mem­bers of the club. “Friend of Ro­tary” Lu­cie Groleau Tay­lor re­ceiv­ing her cer­tifi­cate from Pres­i­dent Lionel Emond.
