TheBeaulne Museum of Coaticook is please to present the “Salon des artistes locaux” with the participation of the group Coatic’Art. The grand opening will be held on Sunday the 6th of July from 2 to 4pm and the exhibit will continue until the 7th of September 2014. The public and the press are cordially invited.

For the 150th Anniversary of Coaticook, what could be better than to view the many creations of our local artists? Coatic’Art regroups many local artists and is able to take up this challenge. Moreover, the success from the three preceding exhibitions definitely showed that it is worth repeating. The 2014 edition will be dedicated to artistic creations which have been practiced for many decades. Furthermore, the 150th Anniversary celebrations of Coaticook, offers a great platform to show various talents.

Approximately twenty artists will be on exhibit presenting a diversity of mediums and unique creations which will constitute a great forum of interactions. Paintings, sculptures, engraving, photography, jewellery, miniatures, textiles, etc.: a variety of ways in which the artists will share their techniques and their sensibility. The public may learn more about them by questioning their work and maybe finding out what is the message behind their creation.
