Ayer’s Cliff wel­comes CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour

Last Thurs­day, July 3rd, Eve Landry, Julie Mar­coux and 29 other cy­clists stopped in Ayer’s Cliff for a well-earned break on their two-day tour to raise money for the Fon­da­tion Cen­tre de can­cerolo­gie Charles-Bruneau. They ar­rived on Main Street in the morn­ing then con­tin­ued on their 300 kilo­me­tre long road trip be­tween Sher­brooke and Boucherville.

“I am pas­sion­ate about cy­cling so it was nat­u­ral for me to join the CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour’s big fam­ily,” com­mented Julie Mar­coux. “The wish to of­fer to chil­dren a world with­out cancer is worth all the ef­fort in the world!” she added.

In its nine­teenth year, this fundraiser has gen­er­ated close to $15 mil­lion for ma­jor projects at Saint Jus­tine’s Hospi­tal, the CHUS, the CHU Que­bec, and the Mon­treal Chil­dren’s Hospi­tal.

The CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour made a stop in Ayer`s Cliff, last Thurs­day, to pro­mote their fundrais­ing tour which raises money for hospi­tal ser­vices for chil­dren with cancer.
