Ayer’s Cliff welcomes CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour
Last Thursday, July 3rd, Eve Landry, Julie Marcoux and 29 other cyclists stopped in Ayer’s Cliff for a well-earned break on their two-day tour to raise money for the Fondation Centre de cancerologie Charles-Bruneau. They arrived on Main Street in the morning then continued on their 300 kilometre long road trip between Sherbrooke and Boucherville.
“I am passionate about cycling so it was natural for me to join the CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour’s big family,” commented Julie Marcoux. “The wish to offer to children a world without cancer is worth all the effort in the world!” she added.
In its nineteenth year, this fundraiser has generated close to $15 million for major projects at Saint Justine’s Hospital, the CHUS, the CHU Quebec, and the Montreal Children’s Hospital.
The CIBC Charles-Bruneau Tour made a stop in Ayer`s Cliff, last Thursday, to promote their fundraising tour which raises money for hospital services for children with cancer.
