Baignade parfaite coming to Townships

Stanstead Journal - - LENNOXVILLE NEWS -

Baignade parfaite, the organization that promotes safe pool and swimming practices, is coming to the Eastern Townships on August 5th, 6th and 7th. Their counsellors will visit residential pools, free of charge, to give their expert advice and tips to make the pools safer. Pool owners can also, for a small fee, learn life-saving techniques in the event of a drowning. To have these specialists visit your pool, contact them by email at baignadeparfaite@sauvetage.qc.ca, or by phone at 514 252-3100 or 1 800 265-3093.

It takes only 15 to 20 seconds for a child to drown so they must be watched constantly when in or near the water. You should have everything you need at the side of the pool when with children, such as your telephone, towels, toys, life jackets, floating devices, first aid kit, and any drinks or snacks that the kids might want while they’re playing.
