Time again for lo­cal art fes­ti­val

The 12th edi­tion of the Fes­ti­val des arts Ge­orgeville-Fitch Bay will soon re­veal what the 36 artists at the 5 sites have been cre­at­ing over this last year.

With 12 ex­hibitors new to the Fes­ti­val you will be cer­tain to be sur­prised and pleased with the fresh new vi­sion they bring to an al­ready stel­lar event! Join them at one of the five vernissages on Fri­day, July 18, 5p.m. to 8p.m.

Over the 9 days come and fol­low the well in­di­cated route be­tween the five sites, two in Fitch Bay, two in Ge­orgeville and one in be­tween. All sites are open from 10a.m. to 5p.m. from July 19th to July 27th (ex­cept on Sun­days when Canon Gustin Hall, in Fitch Bay, is open from 2p.m. to 5p.m.).

Both Fes­ti­val week­ends will of­fer con­certs. The first on Satur­day, July 19th, 7 p.m., is ‘Valody Tent Party’ un­der the tent in down­town Ge­orgeville, fees for ad­mis­sion. The sec­ond mu­si­cal con­cert will take place on July 26th at 7p.m.: Char­lotte Gagnon, mezzo so­prano with Ro­main Pol­let, on piano, at St.Ge­orge’s Church in Ge­orgeville, fees for ad­mis­sion.

At­tend the live demon­stra­tions most week­day af­ter­noons, en­joy a pleas­ant lunch at one of the three lo­cal restaurants, ex­plore the Jardins de Denyse and Bigelow Gar­den, stroll around the vil­lages or drive the scenic roads be­tween the vil­lages and the sites.
