TheCanada/ USA Bridge Group presented its annual fundraising cheque, this time in the amount of $500, to the CAB RH Rediker on Tuesday. This internation- al group of about twenty Bridge players meets regularly in each other’s homes from September to May, raising money all the while for the CAB’s PACE program for children under five years of age. A big Bridge party is held in May to close the season. The Viree Rose of the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation stopped at the Expo de la Vallee de Coaticook on Saturday, providing information about breast health to women visiting their RV in the biggest awareness campaign ever launched in Quebec. This initiative gave visitors the chance to test their knowledge and take part in educational activities about breast health. The Viree Rose began its province-wide tour in June.
