Low­est prices in town!

ForMarché de la Gare and Des­ti­na­tion Sher­brooke, is par­tic­i­pat­ing in the Semaine Que­be­coise des Marchés publics with the ac­tiv­ity L’His­toire fait son marché! On Satur­day, Au­gust 23rd, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at the Marché de la Gare, ev­ery­one is in­vited to re­turn to the early 1900’s to buy some gro­ceries.

Clients will be able to buy food prod­ucts priced for the 1900’s, such as ham for 32 cents a kilo­gram, but stocks are limited! Be­sides the old-fash­ioned prices, there will be animations, story-telling, in­for­ma­tion and old pho­to­graphs on dis­play. Visi­tors can also get the chance to win a bas­ket of good­ies by guess­ing the price of the bas­ket, ac­cord­ing to prices in 1900.
