Local talent on the Centennial Stage during 5th edition of Street Festival
CentennialTheatre joins in to celebrate the 5th edition of the Lennoxville Street Festival organized by the Lennoxville Merchants’ Committee on Saturday, August 23 from 10:30 am to 3 pm. Local and regional artists will perform on one of three stages set up for the occasion and sponsored by Global Excel (Green Stage) and Centennial Theatre (Red Stage).
The Red Stage, located on Queen Street in the parking lot between Provigo Robert Lafond and Fleuriste Lennoxville will feature: Mistysa (world music), The Future Blues Band (jazz and blues quintet), Jesse Enns (folk), The John Speed Group (blues and folk).
The Country Swingers (old time country music), The Singles (songs from the 50s and 60s), Annam’s Family Trio (contemporary jazz), and The Tony Scott Band (folk rock) will grace the Green Stage located in the parking lot next to the Lennoxville Borough Town Hall. Local pianist Jan Graham and friends will entertain audiences on both stages in between acts while Rockabilly Bill Dier and his crew promise to rouse festival goers throughout the day on the White Stage located next to the Lennoxville Library.
Come encourage merchants and artisans from Lennoxville and the surrounding area. More than 100 booths to check out and several surprises on tap! Free activities for the entire family: inflatable games and facepainting for children huge garage sale as well as street performances.
During the event, Queen Street between College and Academy streets will be closed to traffic and open to pedestrians only. This is the perfect occasion to explore your commercial street!
