New Phys­io­ther­a­pist in town

Kate­lynMacDon­ald, a phys­io­ther­a­pist who moved to Que­bec last Fe­bru­ary from Prince Ed­ward Is­land, is now work­ing out of the Pat Burns Arena. Be­fore com­ing to Stanstead, Ms. MacDon­ald was work­ing part-time at the Bishop’s Univer­sity Sports Clinic. Spe­cial­iz­ing in gen­eral or­tho­pe­dics, she is await­ing ap­proval from the CSST to be able to han­dle work-re­lated in­juries as well. “For now I’m tak­ing pri­vate clients and SAAQ clients,” said Ms. MacDon­ald from her of­fice on the sec­ond floor of the arena.

The clinic is now open five days a week and Ms. MacDon­ald is avail­able for even­ing ap­point­ments. “When we get a trend of the pop­u­lar hours, we’ll ad­just our open­ing hours,” she said. This new­comer is en­joy­ing her new prov­ince and work­ing on her French lan­guage skills.
