Have you ever won­dered what it takes to put on a play or a full-scale stage pro­duc­tion? Join the team be­hind the res­i­dent the­atre com­pany of the Haskell Opera House, QNEK Pro­duc­tions, for a look be­hind the cur­tain; an in­ter­ac­tive dis­cus­sion on cre­at­ing an en­tire sea­son of the­atre and ev­ery­thing that comes with it. From in­spi­ra­tion to ap­plause, you’ll know ex­actly what it takes to put on a the­atri­cal event the next time you sit down to en­joy one. This event is led by QNEK Founder and Artis­tic Man­ag­ing Direc­tor Lynn Leimer and As­so­ciate Direc­tor Su­san-Lynn Johns.

Queen Street was packed with pedes­tri­ans, last Satur­day, for Len­noxville’s 5th An­nual Street Fes­ti­val.

About­five thou­sand turned out for the Len­noxville Bor­ough’s an­nual Street Fes­ti­val, held last Satur­day all along Queen Street. “We had sixty-seven kiosks, lo­cal mer­chants, ar­ti­sans and lo­cal or­ga­ni­za­tions, all along the street,” said Em­i­lie Durocher, in charge of re­cre­ation for the Bor­ough. “The mu­si­cians were re­ally ap­pre­ci­ated by ev­ery­one and so were the pre­tend po­lice of­fi­cers who were go­ing around giv­ing pre­tend tick­ets to peo­ple,” she added. There was also a huge garage sale, in­flat­able games for the kids and lots of food and re­fresh­ments.
