SPS is ready for school

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS - Sherbrooke

Withthe beginning of school, there will be thousands of students out on the streets in the Sherbrooke area. As in past years, the Sherbrooke Police Service (SPS) will hold special road surveillance operations. They will also visit schools to meet with staff, teachers and students. The aim of this activity is to make the students aware of the rules for pedestrians.

Also, two service orders have been established for the beginning of the semesters at the and at Bishop’s University. There will be an increased police presence near the universities and nearby drinking establishments to ensure the tranquility of residents of those areas.
