There are food stands fea­tur­ing fried dough, grilled sausage with pep­per and onions, among other of­fer­ings. Dave Fuller, of Fuller’s Su­garhouse, will be sell­ing vanilla ice cream with its award-win­ning maple syrup, as well as maple cot­ton candy. Fuller’s Su­garhouse has par­tic­i­pated in the Lan­caster Fair for over 20 years. “This is an old-fash­ioned agri­cul­tural fair, where the en­tire fam­ily can ex­pe­ri­ence and learn about our re­gion’s farm­ing her­itage,” said Dave Fuller. “It’s great to see chil­dren vis­it­ing the barn­yard and milk­ing cows. There are just so many things for families to do.” En­ter­tain­ing Grand­stand Shows Each day of the Fair fea­tures a va­ri­ety of grand­stand shows – Cruise Night, 5th An­nual Fire­man’s Muster, New Eng­land Cham­pi­onship Wrestling, and Pig Scram­ble ,con­cert by Con­fed­er­ate Rail­road– all free with paid ad­mis­sion. It’s all about the horse­power at the Fair’s paid ($8 ad­mis­sion) grand­stand shows: a Big Rig Truck Pull at 1 pm and a 4 x 4 Truck Pull at 6 pm on Sun­day, Au­gust 31, and a De­mo­li­tion Derby at 3:30 pm on Mon­day, Septem­ber 1. Driv­ers are com­ing from as far north as Canada and as far south as New Jer­sey to par­tic­i­pate in th­ese high-oc­tane, mo­tor­ized com­pe­ti­tions.

Grammy-nom­i­nated coun­try band, Con­fed­er­ate Rail­road, is the fea­tured en­ter­tain­ment on Satur­day, Au­gust 30, at 7 p.m. Krazy Koun­try Band will warm up the au­di­ence at 5 p.m. Both shows are free with paid ad­mis­sion.
