Roadwork in area
Some drilling work is being done on the bridge that crosses the Tomifobia River on route 141, in Ayer’s Cliff. Between Wednesday, September 24th, and Wednesday, October 1st, one lane out of two will be closed from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm.
A culvert on the Narrows Road (route 247) in Stanstead Township, about one kilometre south-west of the Fitch Bay Marina, is being rebuilt. The work will be done between Monday, September 22nd and Friday, October 10th. The road will be completely closed during the work and drivers will need to take a detour on the Merrill and Sheldon roads of about 13 kilometres.
Ditchwork is being done all this week on the North Hatley road, between Felton and Alfred-Lapointe, in Sherbrooke. The work will be done from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm and drivers are asked to slow down in the area.
