Quinzaine kicks off
The Table de developpement social Memphremagog (TDSM) has planned a first, special event to promote social development and solidarity: la Quinzaine which will run from October 27th to November 9th in the Memphremagog region. Everyone is welcome to take part in the different activities.
“The idea behind the Quinzaine was to create momentum in the autumn by combining several events connected to social development in the space of a few days,” said Marie-Denise Morency, the president of the TDSM. “They could be new events or existing ones that took place at another time of the year before. We hope that people realize that social development and solidarity as well as social economies come in several forms and touch different spheres of activity.”
The complete schedule of activites for the Quinzaine can be found at www.developpementsocialm.org.
