Ernes­tine Whipple War­den R A of Que. Meet­ing. Prior to the meet­ing while food was get­ting set out ev­ery­one wel­comed each other and chat­ted about all things..

A de­li­cious buf­fet was set out and we stuffed our­selves, those who did not at­tend missed a darn good meal and an ex­cel­lent meet­ing.

After the dishes were cleared away and Hall set up Dick Sarasin the Noble Grand of River­side no.12 called the meet­ing “To or­der”. After Open­ing in form the Dis­trict Deputy Pres­i­dent Sab­rina Royea was in­tro­duced and ex­tended; the Hon­ours.

She then asked her Con­duc­tor to present all Assem­bly and Grand Lodge Of­fi­cers of all branches of On Sept.27/14 River­side #12 Re­bekahs greeted mem­bers and vis­i­tors alike to their An­nual Dis­trict the Or­der. The Ap­pointed were in­tro­duced first, then the Elected Of­fi­cers ex­cept the Pres­i­dent of the Re­bekah Assem­bly of Que­bec and the Dis­trict Deputy Grand Master . All re­ceived proper greet­ings and verse.

Deputy Grand Master Arnold MacKeage stand­ing in for GM Ed Cop­ing was then in­tro­duced and given “the Hon­ours”. Then he was seated at the left of the DDP. In front Left to right: Pres. Susan Lawrance VG & PP Sylvia Lefebvre, and DDP#2 Sab­rina Royea, 2nd row: Mil­dred Hol­l­i­day, Joy Royea, Jan­ice Gor­don, Gla­dys Cook, Doreen Find­lay, Ruth Blanchette, Dorothy Pre­mont, Laura Burn­ham. Last row: Arnold MacKeage, Dick Sarasin, and Everett Arnott.

Then Sab­rina’s mother, Assem­bly Pres­i­dent Susan Lawrance was pre­sented and given “the Hon­ours”. A verse was read and her song, “On the Wings of a Dove” was played and sung. She was then seated at the right of Sab­rina.

Sab­rina pro­ceeded with the meet­ing in a timely fash­ion and ex­tended “the greet­ings” of the assem­bly as well as her own per­sonal greet­ings, thanked her lodge for a fine job for all their work and all those for at­tend­ing. Sab­rina was a Past Pres­i­dent of our youth group, Dove Thete Rho Club, now closed and we are very proud of her!!

The Meet­ing was turned back to Dick with thanks to all who worked to put this to­gether and for all at­tend­ing. Meet­ing closed in form.
