Ernestine Whipple Warden R A of Que. Meeting. Prior to the meeting while food was getting set out everyone welcomed each other and chatted about all things..
A delicious buffet was set out and we stuffed ourselves, those who did not attend missed a darn good meal and an excellent meeting.
After the dishes were cleared away and Hall set up Dick Sarasin the Noble Grand of Riverside no.12 called the meeting “To order”. After Opening in form the District Deputy President Sabrina Royea was introduced and extended; the Honours.
She then asked her Conductor to present all Assembly and Grand Lodge Officers of all branches of On Sept.27/14 Riverside #12 Rebekahs greeted members and visitors alike to their Annual District the Order. The Appointed were introduced first, then the Elected Officers except the President of the Rebekah Assembly of Quebec and the District Deputy Grand Master . All received proper greetings and verse.
Deputy Grand Master Arnold MacKeage standing in for GM Ed Coping was then introduced and given “the Honours”. Then he was seated at the left of the DDP. In front Left to right: Pres. Susan Lawrance VG & PP Sylvia Lefebvre, and DDP#2 Sabrina Royea, 2nd row: Mildred Holliday, Joy Royea, Janice Gordon, Gladys Cook, Doreen Findlay, Ruth Blanchette, Dorothy Premont, Laura Burnham. Last row: Arnold MacKeage, Dick Sarasin, and Everett Arnott.
Then Sabrina’s mother, Assembly President Susan Lawrance was presented and given “the Honours”. A verse was read and her song, “On the Wings of a Dove” was played and sung. She was then seated at the right of Sabrina.
Sabrina proceeded with the meeting in a timely fashion and extended “the greetings” of the assembly as well as her own personal greetings, thanked her lodge for a fine job for all their work and all those for attending. Sabrina was a Past President of our youth group, Dove Thete Rho Club, now closed and we are very proud of her!!
The Meeting was turned back to Dick with thanks to all who worked to put this together and for all attending. Meeting closed in form.
