Many­lo­cal or­ga­ni­za­tions had a nice time on Mon­day night in Coat­i­cook, re­ceiv­ing a to­tal of $56,200 in grant money from the Til­lot­son Coat­i­cook Re­gional Fund. The char­i­ta­ble fund cov­ers a wide ter­ri­tory although, judg­ing by the num­ber of grants go­ing to Coat­i­cook groups, it is bet­ter known by or­ga­ni­za­tions in that town. Stem­ming from the wealth and gen­eros­ity of the late Neil Til­lot­son, the fund awards about $60,000 in grants to worth­while com­mu­nity projects twice a year. See the chart for more de­tails.
