commissioner with the New Frontier School Board in the Chateauguay Valley Region for fourteen years before moving back to the Townships, where he grew up, in 2013. “I wanted to run because this area is very similar to the Chateauguay Valley with similar challenges. I’m a big proponent of keeping our small schools; sometimes they are the last English institution in the small towns. I also want to connect constituents with the School Board because I believe there is a big disconnect there,” said Mr. Wright.

“The concerns of the parents are my concerns; small or big, we can work them out. Another thing to think of is the possi- ble amalgamation of the school boards. I know people at both school boards and that can be helpful,” he added.

The location where you should vote is clearly marked on the voting cards that were sent out in the mail. If you don’t have your voting card, you may call Returning Officer Pauline Lazure, on Voting Day or before, at 819 8683100 ext 55204, to find out which school you should vote at.
