Thirty-one year-old Simon Fortier appeared at the Sherbrooke Courthouse to face one charge of possession of child pornography. The man had been in contact with young girls via social media as he pretended to be female. He told them that he worked for a modeling agency and talked some girls into undressing and posing for a webcam. The police carried out a search of his home and took some computer material to be analyzed. Anyone with more information about this man can contact the criminal information centre at 1 800 659-4264. The investigation is continuing and alcohol, speed, and not wearing seatbelts are suspected to have been a factor in the tragic accident.
