Im­por­tant no­tice for Vet­er­ans

Robert Groulx, the Ser­vice Of­fi­cer with the Army, Navy and Air Force Vet­er­ans in Canada, Unit 318 in Len­noxville, on be­half of Vet­er­ans Af­fairs, is look­ing for Vet­er­ans who have par­tic­i­pated in the Nor­mandy Cam­paign and are el­i­gi­ble to re­ceive the highly dis­tin­guished “French Le­gion of Honor Medal”. He is also look­ing for Sec­ond World War Vet­er­ans who are el­i­gi­ble to re­ceive a cer­tifi­cate and a pin is­sued by the Depart­ment of Vet­er­ans Af­fairs in Canada, and Korean War Vet­er­ans who have not yet re­ceived their Am­bas­sador of Peace Medal. This medal is also given to the fam­ily of de­ceased Vet­er­ans. Any Veteran liv­ing in the East­ern Town­ships or their fam­ily can ap­ply.
