Tea is Served!

ThisSatur­day af­ter­noon, the Colby-Cur­tis Mu­seum is hold­ing its last Tea Ser­vice of the year, a Christ­mas Tea, and reser­va­tions are re­quired. From 1:00 to 3:00 pm, in four half hour seat­ings, other desserts, in the Mu­seum’s beau­ti­ful so­lar­ium, all dec­o­rated for Christ­mas.

- nered up with Vanasse Farm Prod­ucts for this, will be sell­ing fresh Christ­mas trees and fir wreaths in front of the barn as a lit­tle fundraiser.

Peo­ple vis­it­ing the Colby-Cur­tis Mu­seum for the sale or Christ­mas Tea are also wel­come to visit the World War I ex­hibit, Mem­ory of Sacrifice, which ends in De­cem­ber. This ex­hibit fo­cusses on how lo­cal peo­ple par­tic­i­pated in the Great War.

The win­ter open­ing hours of the Colby-Cur­tis Mu­seum, which be­gin in Jan­uary, will be Tues­days, Wed­nes­days and Thurs­days, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. For more in­for­ma­tion or to make reser­va­tions for the Christ­mas Tea, call 819 876-7322.
