10th Annual Tree Lighting and Open House at the Goodrich Memorial Library

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS -

Join in the festivities at the Goodrich as we ‘‘light up’’ the holiday season by illuminating our beautiful Victorian building for the holidays with 6 Christmas trees, many garlands and wreaths, a miniature Christmas Village and other decorations that make the Christmas season so special. Sparkling lights and seasonal music will warm your heart as the United Church of Newport Bell Choir performs a holiday concert. What better way to kick-off your holidays than music, hot chocolate and cookies.

In addition to the fun, there will be an opportunity for shopping at our craft tables where beautiful hand crafted gifts, from our Knifty Knitters, are available. Or buy a ticket to join in the Gift Basket Raffle. Tickets are $1.00 each or 6 for $5.00. You choose which unique basket of goodies or gift certificate you want to try for. Winners will be announced at our annual Christmas party December 14.

Add us to your list of Santa Festival activities which take place from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. with entertainment for kids, shopping for adults, Santa Claus, wagon rides and more. Don’t miss out on the fun. Come to Newport on December 6 for a unique Saturday experience!
