Varsity Boys Hockey MPHL Regular Season Champions!
Thevarsity boys hockey went 3-1 this past weekend at Ridley College, defeating Rice Memorial, St. Michael’s College and Edge School. Their only loss was 6-4 to Ridley. The team was uncharacteristically down 0-5 before crawling back to make it 4-5. However, the comeback was short lived and a very good Ridley team hung on to win 6-4.
With this showing, the team finishes the regular season with a 16 and 2 record. Stanstead is actually 1st in the
Bowers Division for the first time since our inaugural season in 2009, but more importantly, 1st in the overall league for the first time ever.
The team now how has a number of New England games to play and long weekend off in February before traveling to Gilmour Academy in Gates Mills Ohio for the 2015 MPHL Playoffs the weekend of February 20-22.

Update on Varsity Girls:
The Girls returned from their NAPHA league weekend in Cicero, NY with an undefeated record of 3 wins and 1 tie. The team defeated Nichols School, Trinity College and Ridley College, while playing Gilmour Academy to a draw.
The girls still have one major NAPHA weekend of competition remaining in Upper State New York from February 6-8 at Union College and RPI.
Stay tuned for league standings once the last weekend of competition has been played. Note that the girls NAPHA Playoffs will take place from February 20-22 in Burlington, Vermont.
