TheNow Play­ing New­port Mu­sic Se­ries is proud to present Tod Pronto and Friends in Con­cert of Sun­day, Fe­bru­ary 22nd at St. Marl›s Epis­co­pal Church, Sec­ond Street, New­port. The pro­gram be­gins at 4 pm.

In­cluded will be se­lec­tions from Tod›s up­com­ing al­bum ti­tled “It Can’t All Be Wrong.” Join­ing Tod will be Aaron Carr/ Bass Gui­tar and Back­ing Vo­cals, Nate Michaud/ Elec­tric Gui­tar. Dy­lan Bidwell / Drums, Holly Nor­ton - Back­ing Vo­cals, and Steve McManus – Fid­dle. A great af­ter­noon of mu­sic.

Tod is a Singer & Song Writer born and raised in New­port Ver­mont. Tod has recorded 3 al­bums of orig­i­nal mu­sic to date in­clud­ing his al­bum “Dodge Darts and Bro­ken Hearts” that was recorded in Nashville TN for B-Ven­tur­ous Records.

He also writes in­stru­men­tal back­ground mu­sic for tele­vi­sion shows and his work has ap­peared on AMC and The Na­tional Geo­graphic Net­work among oth­ers. Tod’s song “Money and a Suit­case” was the first track fea­tured on a com­pi­la­tion al­bum put out by Shut Eye Records in 2005 called “The United State of Amer­i­cana Vol. 3” that went on to reach #20 on the Roots Rock Airplay Re­port. Th­ese days Tod’s mu­sic com­bines Folk, Roots Mu­sic, Coun­try, Rock, and Blues to cre­ate a unique blend of Amer­i­cana Mu­sic.

His live show com­bines sev­eral Tra­di­tional num­bers with his orig­i­nals along with his fun and unique brand of sto­ry­telling. Tick­ets are at very low price and can be pur­chased on­line at­play­ingnew­ along with pro­gram se­lec­tions..
