Bor­ough of Lennoxville Rec­og­nizes its Per­son­al­i­ties for 2014

Once again this year, the Ville de Sher­brooke and the Bor­ough of Lennoxville were proud to host the Out­stand­ing Achieve­ment Awards evening to hon­our cit­i­zens who have made sig­nif­i­cant con­tri­bu­tions to the Lennoxville com­mu­nity, rec­og­niz­ing the 2014 win­ners at last night’s event. 2014 win­ners

The “Arts and Cul­ture” award was pre­sented to Jan­ice LaDuke for her con­tri­bu­tions to cul­tural life in Lennoxville. Black Cat Books, Ms. LaDuke’s lo­cal book­store, pro­vides in­nu­mer­able hours of en­joy­ment through its broad se­lec­tion of new and used books. The book­store is also a gath­er­ing place for a lo­cal writ­ing group, and Jan­ice has played a role in the devel­op­ment
