Threepeople received minor injuries from flying glass when a car came crashing through the froant window of the Café au Lac restaurant, situated on Main Street in North Hatley, Saturday evening. Two adults and three children were the only patrons in the restaurant, sitting at a table near the window, at the time of the accident, around 7:30 pm. It wasn’t necessary to call an ambulance.

There were four people, including the seventeen year-old driver, in the car when it came down Sherbrooke Street towards Main, then went right through the intersection. According to the Sureté du Quebec, the driver didn’t adapt adequately to the driving conditions to be able to make the stop.
