Stanstead Township celebrates the season
StansteadTownship held its Fête des Neiges in Thayer Park on Saturday, February 18th, in the afternoon. The fun included a friendly broomball game between the Stanstead Township firefighters and the Stanstead firefighters, sled rides, a bonfire, horse rides, and sugar on snow. All of the food was free including the hotdogs provided by Marché Gaudreau. The event is organized by the volunteers of Action Communautaire du Canton de Stanstead (ACCS) and is financially supported by the municipality.

Café Bar Sans Frontieres held its second annual fundraiser for the Lennoxville Pet Connection service founded and run by Jennifer Young, owner of the Blue Seal pet supplies store and seen here in the photo. Over $2,100 was raised at the dance that featured the band Slightly Haggard and with the online Silent Auction. Organizers plan to repeat the event next year.
