CIUSSS-CHUS CEO an­nounces nom­i­na­tion of as­sis­tant

The re­cently ap­pointed Pres­i­dent and Chief Ex­ec­u­tive Of­fi­cer of the Cen­tre in­té­gré uni­ver­si­taire de santé et de ser­vices so­ci­aux (CIUSSS) de l’Estrie – Cen­tre hospi­tal­ier uni­ver­si­taire de Sher­brooke (CHUS), Ms. Pa­tri­cia Gauthier, was proud to an­nounce the nom­i­na­tion by Min­is­ter Bar­rette of Ms. Jo­hanne Tur­geon as As­sis­tant Pres­i­dent and CEO.

Ms. Gauthier stressed her new as­sis­tant’s qual­i­fi­ca­tions: “Ms. Tur­geon con­trib­uted in ral­ly­ing all the re­gion’s in­ter­ven­ers to pre­pare for the up­com­ing trans­for­ma­tions to the net­work on April 1st. We can count on a top-rate ad­min­is­tra­tor who has sev­eral years’ ex­pe­ri­ence in man­age­ment in our net­work, since she was as­so­ci­ate gen­eral direc­tor of the

Agence de la santé et des ser­vices so­ci­aux de l’Estrie, then gen­eral direc­tor up un­til now.”

With this nom­i­na­tion, Gauthier con­tin­ued, “We have a strong core for ral­ly­ing a team of sea­soned ad­min­is­tra­tors. We know the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – CHUS’ new territory, which in­cludes cur­rent Estrie es­tab­lish­ments plus those of the CSSS La Pomeraie and the CSSS Haute-Ya­maska, car­ries an im­por­tant num­ber of com­pe­tent peo­ple who will join the team in the com­ing weeks. We are con­fi­dent that the up­com­ing tran­si­tion will be im­ple­mented with­out im­pact­ing on ser­vices to users.”

“I con­grat­u­late Ms. Tur­geon, and I am very happy to be able to count on her strong knowl­edge of the Estrie net­work and its chal­lenges. Her qual­i­fi­ca­tions rep­re­sent an added value to our new or­ga­ni­za­tion”, con­cluded the CEO.
