LastWed­nes­day, a 17 year-old from Sher­brooke was caught do­ing more than 165 km/hr on au­toroute 10, in Austin. Be­cause he was a mi­nor, he re­ceived a fine of $100 plus fees, to­talling $133. If he had been 18 the fine would have been $1,103. A speeder along the 112 in Dudswell was caught on radar go­ing more than 150 km/hr in a 90 km zone. The 43 year-old Marston res­i­dent re­ceived a $923 ticket and 10 in­ap­ti­tude points along with the sus­pen­sion of his li­cense for seven days. An­other driver re­ceived a $684 fine and 10 in­ap­ti­tude points for speed­ing on the 112 in the West­bury sec­tor while a fourth speeder on the 112, in As­cot Cor­ner, re­ceived a fine in the same amount.

Three a c e stu­dents were suspended af­ter pick­ing be­tween fif­teen and twenty other stu­dents with nee­dles used to mea­sure blood sugar lev­els. The nee­dles were seized and sent to the CSSS Mem­phrem­a­gog to be an­a­lyzed.
