LastWednesday, a 17 year-old from Sherbrooke was caught doing more than 165 km/hr on autoroute 10, in Austin. Because he was a minor, he received a fine of $100 plus fees, totalling $133. If he had been 18 the fine would have been $1,103. A speeder along the 112 in Dudswell was caught on radar going more than 150 km/hr in a 90 km zone. The 43 year-old Marston resident received a $923 ticket and 10 inaptitude points along with the suspension of his license for seven days. Another driver received a $684 fine and 10 inaptitude points for speeding on the 112 in the Westbury sector while a fourth speeder on the 112, in Ascot Corner, received a fine in the same amount.
Three a c e students were suspended after picking between fifteen and twenty other students with needles used to measure blood sugar levels. The needles were seized and sent to the CSSS Memphremagog to be analyzed.
