Bread sellers are back!

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS - Victoria Vanier, Stanstead

Don’tforget to buy your Caritas Easter bread, this Friday between 9:00 am and noon, when the volunteers visit every home in Stanstead, Ogden and Stanstead East with their fresh loaves. Locally in Stanstead, the breads, which are traditionally made with both whole wheat and white flour to please everyone’s tastes, will also be for sale at the aga n ad t on, the pharmacy and Depanneur JAN, in the Beebe sector. The suggested donation for the bread is $5.

Volunteer drivers and their young helpers must arrive at the a d n de ont e e school at 8:30 am on Friday to organize their route. “I’d like to thank all the volunteers for helping,” said campaign organizer Therese Gaulin. All the money raised selling the bread comes back to the communities where the breads are sold. Non-profit organizations should contact Caritas to see if they are eligible for grants. Money from the 2014 Caritas campaign went to the CAB RH Rediker and the e c e de e e e .
