Launchedin August 2012, the Orchestre National de Jazz is an ensemble with various combinations, dedicated to programming the global repertoire of orchestral jazz. The ONJ’s mission aims to privilege and stimulate awareness, the development and the presentation of orchestral jazz music of all eras through a range of productions, concerts and recording sessions featuring a core of permanent musicians; a rare occasion to witness the talent of Quebec’s jazz elite. Over 16 musicians will present a repertoire that will be revealed soon.
