Galt students look for eggs

Stanstead Journal - - NEWS - Victoria Vanier Lennoxville, Sherbrooke

Eastercame early at Alexander Galt High School this week. During the Monday lunch period, students were invited to hunt for forty Easter eggs created by art students that were hidden all over the school. Once an egg was found, the student then brought the egg to the library where they could exchange it for a chocolate egg. Now that the eggs are all collected they are on display in the school’s library where students can cast a vote for their favorite. The winners will be announced on April 1st. Phase 3 of the Havre des Cantons

expansion project began at the beginning of March and will see the addition of 60 new apartments

to the seniors residence. Close to $10 million will be invested for this project which will also include a pool, a training room and a community hall. The work should be completed by December of 2015. Seen in the photo is the residence’s

regional director, Jean Blouin.
