Culture Week at Jardin-des-Frontieres
This week, Jardin-des-Frontieres school is holding its “Semaine culturelle”, a week brimming with interesting cultural activities for all the students to enjoy. Talent shows, organized by Arts teacher Suzanne Patry and featuring all of the students who had a talent to share, took place in front of students, parents and staff on Monday and Tuesday afternoons to kick off the enriching fun. “We had music, songs, guitar playing, violin, tap dancing and more,” said the school’s director, Julie Dubois.
Today, the students are heading to the Seminaire de Sherbrooke where they will see the play The Cat in the Hat put on by the students of La Ruche high school. The students have also been asked to read books this week and choose a new, favorite word which they will put on a colored piece of paper. Those new words will than all come together to create a large mosaic at the school.
