Coaticook Museum Presents
TheBeaulne Museum of Coaticook is pleased to present the exhibition «Murmure sylvestre » by the artist Manon Potvin from the 2nd of May to the 10th of June 2015. The grand opening will be held on Saturday the 2nd of May at 2 pm. The public and the press are cordially invited.
The art of Manon Potvin takes place in the wake of surrealists and more so with an allegorical realistic approach. Drawn from a fantastic imagination, the artist invites us into her world full of trees, water, clouds, light, and landscapes full of life and serenity. In the absence of any control over reason, outside of any actual functioning thoughts, she lets us enter into her private world.
Imagination, inspiration and intuition gently guide the artist towards a better understanding of life. She expresses herself with bits and pieces of comprehension as well as an overflow of wonder. Her creations will make you smile and reflect but mostly appreciate the beauty in life.
Manon Potvin is originally from Montreal but now resides in Magog. Self-taught, she has been painting since 2001. She is a member of the International Academy of Arts in Quebec as well as a signatory of the Figurative Arts Institute. She also received many honors from panels and the public.
