CFUW’s Public Speak­ing con­test next Wed­nes­day

TheCana­dian Fed­er­a­tion of Uni­ver­sity Women (CFUW) Sher­brooke and Dis­trict in­vites you to at­tend the 23rd an­nual Re­gional Public Speak­ing Com­pe­ti­tion on Wed­nes­day, May 6th to be held at the Amedee Beau­doin Cen­ter, 10 Sa­muel-Gratham St. be­hind the Town Hall in Lennoxville, start­ing at 4:15 p.m. No ad­mis­sion, free park­ing. Over­flow park­ing is avail­able on Queen Street next to the florist. Five high schools par­tic­i­pat­ing: Alexander Galt High School, Bishop’s Col­lege School, Massey-Vanier High School, Rich­mond Re­gional High School and Stanstead Col­lege. The school rep­re­sented by each win­ner will re­ceive a mod­est prize of $100 to ben­e­fit their li­brary.
