Actor and comedian Jonny Harris travels across Canada to explore small towns and meet the people who still call them home. While at each location he performs an original stand-up comedy routine for the locals based on the people, town and his experience.
Born and raised in Pouch Cove, Newfoundland, actor and comedian Jonny Harris believes that seeing the comedy in adversity has always been the Canadian way. That’s why he’s on a professional mission to find the funny in places we’d least expect it; the small towns across Canada.
We know them for failed industry, lost jobs and dwindling populations but there’s an amazing punch line to come as Jonny uncovers larger-than-life personalities, unique traditions and wonderful facts about these tiny towns. And to show there’s still passion for the lifestyle and laughs to be had in these resilient places, Jonny will prepare a stand-up comedy routine based on his adventures and perform it for the locals.
