Alexander Galt High School’s Drama students held their annual production over the last weekend in April, putting on four performances of Pirate sland The usical. Besides the usual three nightly performances, a Sunday matinee was added.

“We had a very good run this year. The performances went smoothly and the student actors did exceedingly well. We had a good crowd turn-out considering the fact that we had an extra performance added to the schedule. I am very proud of all of my young actors. They had challenges along the way, and everyone came out on top in the end,” commented Olivia Louise Grenier, the school’s Drama teacher and the director of the play.

A special cameo appearance was made by Bob Halsall, the popular student activities coordinator of the school who retired last year. Mr. Halsall took part in school plays when he was a student there and occasionally during his over thirty years of working at the school.
