Free comedy show Sunday at Haskell
The Beaulne Museum of Coaticook is delighted to present the exhibition “Art = instrument de passage” by the artist Taki E’Bwenze from the 17th of May to the 28th of June 2015. The grand opening will be held on Sunday the 17th of May at 2pm. The public and the press are cordially invited.
Taki E’Bwenze is a multidisciplinary artist. In June 1982, his first solo exhibition on traditional African Art was presented at the Beaulne Museum. Afterwards, his exhibit toured other Museums in Canada and in the United States.
In 1984, he has an interest in research and on the new virtual aesthetic expressions of traditional African art done with a computer. The work was done with the collection of traditional African art which he had collected through various sources in Canada. This was a new opportunity which allowed him to participate in various activities in the field of new technologies such as virtual arts creator, exhibitor and speaker at various national and international projects. Still, painting will always be part of him along with his own special touch. His strange and passionate universe of colours and animated sceneries is what he wishes to share with the public.
