Part of Sherbrooke bike path closed today
The City of Sherbrooke’s roads department will be carrying out maintenance work and repairs, including re-filling with gravel, on a 3.4 kilometre stretch of the Grandes-Fourches bicycle network today. The stretch of bike path on the Massawippi trail will be completely closed during the work. The maintenance and repair work, which will include compacting, is being done between the bicycle halt, near 4 Massawippi Street, and the McDonald Road.
Cyclists wishing to head towards North Hatley today will have to join up with the bike path on the Capelton Road (route 108). A map of the Grandes-Fourches bicycle path network can be found on the City of Sherbrooke’s internet site.
