Sher­brooke hosts Canada Day cel­e­bra­tions

The City of Sher­brooke has a num­ber of free, fam­ily ac­tiv­i­ties lined up for Canada’s 148th birth­day on July 1st, at Parc Jac­ques-Cartier. The fun be­gins at 10:00 am with in­flat­able games, free hot-dogs, mu­si­cal shows, games for teens and more. Dur­ing the day, new Cana­dian cit­i­zens will re­ceive their cit­i­zen­ship in a mov­ing cer­e­mony, and the Fusaliers de Sher­brooke will raise the Cana­dian flag at 2:00 pm.

Free birth­day cake will be served, the Cal­gary con­cert band Rocky Moun­tain will per­form in the evening, and fire­works will go off at 10:30. Ev­ery­one is welcome!
