Maria Rainer is the newest postulant at Nonnberg Abbey who can’t seem to find her place with the other Nuns. In an effort to help her refocus the Reverend Mother sends her to be the governess of seven children at the strict household of a Naval Captain. No sooner does she arrive than she falls in love with the children and shortly after, their father. Meanwhile the Nazi party makes its way to Austria and we find the newly formed family in the uncertain position of fleeing the mountain home they love, or being forced to separate for a cause they don’t believe in. Come and see the inspiring story of how one family perseveres through love and music.
